Oh, oops. Could someone clarify, then, how I tell what will be smoothed in Spring and what won't?

erom, IF I had photoshop I would hightlight the vertices that indicate more then 3 sides. I am seeing vertices

Yeah, it's my fault, I'm still learning how to manage the smoothing. I thought that the shift-tab function would show how it looked when Spring rounded it out, the raw model is a lot clunkier:

yeah just tab. Showing it with smoothing in spring would be something like the shaded view you see there. The smoothing+shaded view shows it as though the smoothing was applied and THAT adds vertices.

People complained that the Corruption was ugly so I remade the worm. No idea how long my motivation to remake the whole faction will last though.

Judging from Rattle's response, KDR, about a minute or so from now.

looks more like a bloody loaf of french bread (terd) than a cock

Corruption is ugly in the sense that it doesn't visually fit in the game. I know it's the point, but IMHO it didn't work out that well. Everything is covered in a grid on a black background and suddenly you have this almost single-colored stuff that manages to almost literally dig into the map grid. While cool, it's not something that I'd call consistent style.

Yes, you can, if it is relevant.

Actually, I like the model. I guess the ribbons move back and forth, sorta like a caterpillar.

Yep, they also allow the worm to stretch for its attack animation and Zwzsg to write another overly complex walk script to make it follow its path

Pretty Nice, can we get more views? Looks a little blocky, can I get a shot of the tank it's mimicking?

I keep expecting people to recognise it, seen as it's probably the most famous tank of all time
edit: Also it's not smoothed yet, adding to the blockyness

Tiger tank! Insert requisite line from that tiger poem here. Do I win something?
FWIW, I think it's pretty recognizable.
