Your annalysis was contradictory to ALOT of gameplay testing by serious players. You also didn't provide any evidence, further damaging your arguement.

Yan.. pretty much everyone but you.. and the faceless thousands who have not said anything and thus dont count.. have said they disagree that artillery is not to effective, porcing is not a problem and that playing on chokepoint maps does not result in absolute domination by artillery..

Several people have mentioned they find artillery tricky to use and requiring more skill than regular units.. and I have already stated that I intend to remove the whole move while shooting ability of lvl 1 artillery.. lvl 2 artillery already has this and lvl 3 artillery functions completely different.. this means roughly that you need to rearrange your argument are you still on that stance.. stop just attacking people...

also arty can be great for feints and bluffs, it FORCES your opponent to conform to what YOU want him to do

so scout his stuff

and adjust

eg: he has a crapload of T1 plasma bots

get 2-3 units of arty pounding away at them and keep the scouts coming, when he moves to counterattack your unprotected arty completely annihilate his mines or his plants

he can counter this by scouting etc

its how the game is played at a higher level :P

Now...better brush up my E&E skills since i have a lot of spare time on my hands and the last time i played this mod i quite enjoyed it

fang u probably didnt see my earlier posts but i said that since ur gonna make the changes that u just mentioned problem will probably disapear..
not my fault people here are so god damn aggressive...
