Abolition, regardless of its historical context, means the state of something being abolished, or overthrown. And there's a reason I chose this name. Shh. Forboding, if you would be so clever as to actually post the wikipedia listing for "Abolition" rather than "Abolitionism"...

As of "2.24", the mod will be officially renamed Abolition and will be version 1.0. And it's certainly easier for foreigners to spell than "Absolute Annihilation".

One of the reasons I had to change the name is because not only am I legally bound to move away from Total Annihilation copyrighted content, but I am also bound to move away from Total Annihilation's lore, its universe. In other words, I need a new backstory.

Well, eh... I sorta already have the story planned. And it's not really all that elaborate. Maybe at some point when I have a draft and a version that's actually... like... my end-goal, you could add to it. But you'd probably be a geriatric by then.
