I've been getting eaten by those goddamn sharpshooters. Any tips on how to fight them?

sending a few heavy units to draw fire and a lot of aks or something for the actual kill should work or arty/air

Swarms mixed with heavy units. Prefferly AK's n peewees. Zippers are also good, but again, gotta be swarmed. And Aircrafts offcourse. But more then 1...

sharpshooters? they counter heavy units so use light fast ones. especially ones such as the flash or insty which have enough health to aviod too much damage from any escorts (if they are unguarded pwn em with jeffies ^.^)

funny thing about trying to swamp them: try attacking with rows rather than columns, because Sharpshooter shots pass right on through the units they hit to hurt (with small dudes, kill) anything behind them.

Well, they're there, in theory. Since they're L1 and meant not to survive too long if they're being shot at, they have a 3-second reload, compared with radar planes' 0.8 second reload.
Is there a comprehensive explanation about what the tags associated with flares actually do? What's flare efficiency exactly? What's flare delay? I have a rough idea, but I'd like to know specifics.

Why is the cruize missle turned to an EMP missle?
I liked the small nuke missle. (though making it interceptable would be nice, if ther are too much people crying for it's overpowerness).
Now the cruize missle is useless again. I won't build it anymore, not for that cost!

I like junos, but they might be more effective if:
1) you could tell easily what the radius of the explosion is
2) that radius was a little bigger

I've used them. They're very handy if your enemy's jamming heavily and has too much AA for a scout plane to get through. Drop a few Junos on him and suddenly he's blind and naked, and you can at least see unit clusters to fire at or map out his defences.
As for the EMP missiles, see
this thread Caydr started. If he manages to get that fixed, I think they'd be
more useful than the mini-nuke.

How many units can the different transport types carry? I know the Atlas and Valkyrie can only manage one apiece...

Cruise missile seems pretty useless now. It should have bigger area of effect and/or duration of EMP then it would be useful. Its main use would probaby be stunning strong defensive points, but right now they recover too quickly IMO.
