The idea was to make a dynamic maze thing, like this superlol game where lots of people stand in a square with their arms like

Two people run around in the maze and one tries to catch the other.
If the chased one claps his hands, all the maze people rotate 90° and thus the maze changes.
But it doesnt really work because derp.

i hate documentarys...
I mean take a guy, a real clever guy, he invents fire. Real benefit for the cavemen.
But to invent fire, he has to be risk afine. He has to hate human company. Has to be cleverer then the chieftain. Has to have a reward system which ignores drugs and sex, for the reward of the success of mind.
Bad for the first siencecaveman.
Now mean Mother Nature is a bitch. She would like to have it both ways. For once she would like to have that guy addicted to his girl like a crackHer (we call it luv now, so rooomantic like a heroine-deal), but she also like the sience. So what does she do?
If you cant decide, you divide, and then conquer. If our sience Ape has sex and children, one half gets to be scientist, and the other part becomes the backup. Stupid like can be. Back to nature, and luvin religion. A biological backup.
And one needs the other to exist on, and both are the same side of a dangerous coin, flipped a thousand times. Thats what i enjoy, to see both sides in a discussion groaning in agony, as a paradox is shaped, and truth enters.

well done you two! i like picassos the most so far (and the sample tex also looks good).
though.. maybe i just don't like the others very much, cause they remind me on the old games, with their monotonic gameplay.
You mean Doom2?
DIAF.
Seriously, Z, that's incredisexy. The first Doom-text one is hilarious.

the "toes" look a bit fragile but otherwise nice.

its funny because the rotors spin while it spins while it crashes.

I´m quite happy with the shorter legs. Now I will have fun with designing some different weapons for it to aim at stuff.

Try rotating the feet more forward. Currently it's center of gravity seems like its way more forward than its feet's center of pressure. Looks like its gonna fall over head first any moment. Other than that, great work!

I was a bit worried about that too. So I imported the model into a cad program and let it calculate the center of gravity by evenly distributed mass.
So it seems that it is even to far on the back of the unit. The purple line shows the area of the main weight-bearing part of the foot. I will have to move/expand it a bit to the back.
The toes are mainly for the balancing act while the feet are moving.
I think the side image fails to show, that the shoulder part is quite large and shifts the mass distribution to the back.
So , at the moment, the walker would rather fall on his back than fall over :)
Of course, it´s more important that it looks stable as being "realistically" stable.
Would you care to explain what you mean with
Try rotating the feet more forward.
?

its funny because the rotors spin while it spins while it crashes.
Suggestion: tilt the rotators at odd angles in killed() and randomize their speeds.

A little WIP large map. Lighting and SSMF needs doing.
Also, find the core commander on the pic....
