Okay, I just assumed he means texture it too. I don't mind texturing it though. Of course he can do the uv maps
Well I don't have the wings project files

. I just export things from upspring as a .obj if I need to change something, and it works fine with me

You should keep wings project files. Once you begin to figure out what that _hole material is good for, you'll have lots of fun with broken geometry when importing .objs from upspring. At least I do.

I use one wings file for all the models. Just because they're really simple and I don't want the clutter of all the wings project files. If I need to I can just remodel the object easily.
Edit: Also, with this mod I'm focusing primarily on the gameplay (in case you couldn't tell). The visuals aren't that much of a priority to me. As long as you can tell what's going on I don't really care what it looks like

. My largest focus right now is getting this armor.txt file to work.
So basically I'm not going to go out of my way to learn how to make UV maps stunning eye-candy. I will go out of my way to make sure everything is perfectly balanced and works.
Edit again: Okay so the armor file suddenly decided to work. PA 3 will be released soonish. I just want to fine tune some balance problems.

One problem I JUST found in PA3 is:

in the Armor.txt file should be:

I forgot to add the ops_lighttransport to that armor group, so in PA3 it will take 1 damage from AA instead of the full 18. I've fixed it already for PA4 though. Sorry for the inconvenience

Um... I'm not sure. I have both of the races planned out right now. I don't really know if I want to add another because it may not fit properly. And if you were to make one it probably wouldn't be a good idea because as of now there's only part of the tier 1 land and air for one race, so you probably have no idea what the higher tech levels will be like. I don't want to risk ruining the game. Sorry. Maybe one the Ops race is finished though
If you'd like to help though, feel free to open up the mod .sd7 file and see what sounds I need. I'm not going to start working on those until tier 1 is done, so feel free to help with those anytime if you'd like

PA4 Development Update

It's been a while since an update, mainly because I've been busy with school work and such, but none the less PA4 is coming along quite nicely. In the next release you'll see a huge difference including:
- Full tier 1 for the Ops faction including navy, defenses, construction units, air, etc.
- Tons of brand new sound effects (made by Apollo_13 and I)
- Balance. I will have played at least 50 games on PA4 just to fix balance issuses before it's release.
- A full set of cursors, either new or I'm going to see if I can use the ones from an existing mod (only if the cursors are GPL).
- The mod is still, and it always will be, completely GPL.
You can probably expect to see it's release by the end of April to mid May. Like normal, if anyone has suggestions feel free to email them to me at the above email address.
One final thing, votes! I want to know what everyone thinks of the mod.
