There could be a torrent lurking about somewhere, with the expansion. Mabye i might decide to implement TAK into Supcom, imagine like huge armies of dragons on 20km maps

Yeah but you'd want a torrent of just the original game.
Since the patch has creon anyway.
But yeah TAK in supcom has been thought of before.
Just most of the supcom players arent very helpful when it comes to TAK lol

It might for me be straightforward for putting it into supcom, im a skilled modder for sure and if correctly done it may just be as simple as exporting the 3do to 3ds with uv map, import into blender and export as a .sca and i could then use a simple .bp file to import the unit.

20km aren't all that large if you don't make your units tiny.

I hate big maps lol
Dont understand why people like spending hours playing 1 game.
I'd rather spend 1 hour playing 2-4 games instead.
Much more rewarding I think.

Depends on the mod, in Gundam a big map is necessary to provide enough room for maneuvers but games last maybe 20 minutes.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, I'm pretty sure it will be less work on the whole to bring TA:K to this engine than to Supreme Commander, and I may even make a few maps for ye if you do so.

Chris Taylor would know of TA spring community, if youd notce, hes been taking features from Spring and putting them in Supcom, not to mention the fact the he has on a few occasions mentioned of TA Spring

I think the idea would work as long as it it cleaned up a bit and fixed. e.g. some of the units wont attack and the buildings have purple around them
