Yes that makes more sense, thx for clearing this out! I will disable all pending polls on game start for 0.82b.

I tested with my old mods folder, and it works. BUT when i host and somebody joins the game, it still disconnects from lobby and gives this error:

Contact me (or I will contact you) in game lobby. I will send you a test version to debug your new problem.

Meanwhile please test this with FRESH spring install. This is still most likely due to faulty mod or map.

Springie 0.82b
=========

- polls now stop on game start

- RelayChat now works in both directions (it didn't make sense only in game->lobby direction)

- added delay before exiting server when game ends (to give clients some time to show graphs)

- minor bugfixes and GUI improvements

Yhcir's bug was due to empty welcome message, we tracked it out :) Will be fixed in next version.

hmm, every time i run it, i minimise to tray and then after like 30 seconds it closes (alt+tab bug).
Is there no way around this? so you can host and play on the same machine

I dont understand?? I play and host on same machine all the time..
What closes? Springie or spring? Springie should never exit by itself.

Can you increase the time alloted for voting on !voteexit? I ran into a number of issues where not enough votes get in time when ingame and people are slower to respond.

Yes, I can increase it to minute. It's set to 45 seconds (for all polls) now.

hmm I tried running springie but it crashes when it tries to load spring (well actually spring crashes, not springie) I think it's because it's always starting up minimized? can you make an option for it to open up full screen?

There are several bugs in current spring related to minimizing. Try next version of spring - 0.74RC1 or newer. (I can also send you next version of springie preview, designed to work with spring 0.74).

New version completely hides hosting spring and you can redisplay it by clicking in springie menu.
