God, how did tN ever come to be???
ok tN is not just me so stop saying tN cheats just because you have this obbession with me..
4v4's are played with team-play in mind, not just 4 1v1's, so I dont consider it cheating to help an ally
Maybe the teams are a little stacked sometimes, go make a better ranking system if you are that bothered
also you think we fix battles go take a look at some XHC games

Min3 1 more mex in begining doesn't matter that much and usually it doesn't go on exponential. 1 more or less mex hasn't won game yet, even 1 weasel can turn that around.
Top has 3 more than bottom, all close together and easily defended.

and one mex alone would make a difference!

Apparently people still feel the need to keep this post alive. Look its quite simple:
1) Go to the mapping forum
2) Dl the new version of Comet
3) STFU AND PLAY THE GAME!!!
also God help anyone who complained about comet's imbalance and loses a 1v1. If anyone of u lose then this entire five page pile of ego and stupidity will be all for not.
Whats worse, half the people who complained here will be back on the forums in 3 days complaining about the balance issues in AA. Guess what people nothing is balanced. Nothing.
You need to learn that life ain't fair, shit happens, and you're gonna lose sometime. Thats how it goes. Whether you believe the laws of probablity, fate or some more obscure justification; eventually u are gonna lose and it'll be your fault and no one elses.
I declare a formal request to have this thread locked since the map has been remade. The stupidity in this thread is gonna leak all over the forums soon.
P.S. i say one thing about randomness in life everyone grabs a sword to start fighting over the point. Sheesh

perfectly symetric computer made map anyone? i'm not saying it would be fun, but symetric metal balance is almost always a good idea unless you design the gameplay around it!

You mean that bunny game where your goal is to jump on other bunny and change him into million pieces of meat?

Can we talk more about comet?

Because of this reply I am sure I know more about chess then you.
because one memorizes certain moves he sees tens of moves ahead faster, you don't know what are you talking about :) and i bet you don't like school, as do i but for different reasons. Real chess matches don't take days to complete.
Now can the mods please lock this topic? Last time i ask i won't post in it anymore, its a burned thread.
If a new map has been done then a new thread is needed thsi is about the comet map in the picture and the subject people post on has sliped away.

Top right is a lot easier to play from than bottom left and in a game between two high skilled players, top has to make mistakes to lose. Those pictures showing metal distribution were goddamn awful. They show only basic patterns, not enough to make an arguement on.

Best start location on CC is a matter of debate, personally I tend to start top left, and raneti accuses me from cheating when i start from that position. Clearly hellspawn thinks top left is worst, others think bottom right is best, its all just a matter of principle, whichever you are most adept at playing with...
All in all, it doesnt matter where you start in a team game on comet. In 1v1s there is always debate over top being better than bottom for start because of metal distribution from start positions, (early game where it matters most) but to be honest it wont make much of an impact on the outcome of the game, because it takes 5-10 seconds longer to get to a metal spot on bottom than top.
IMO the whole debate over it being harder to play from bottom is purely psychological, people simply BELIEVE that they are more likely to lose starting from bottom, and hence, that in itself does make them more likely to lose..
Just my 2 cents.

Top Left and Bottom Right...
hmm
maybe you are cheating if you choose those positions lol, the whole debate is over Top RIGHT and Bottom LEFT

only joking though, this thread is just a huge joke at the idiot makers expense.

Christ, the list continues...Another topic in which tN is referred to as a cheat clan... orakio = raneti, anyone?
Thanks for the compliment though... dunno where you get this crazy idea from or how you plan to in the slightest way prove your comments.
All i can say is grow up.

People need to stop holding it up as a model of a great map or good play, and other people need to stop complaining about the details. You all just need to play the many other, different maps out there.
I can build upon my earlier statement, of course. This month alone we have had some great map releases, even Moon maps. Go out and play them.

Yes, you can. I've been adding since I joined.
