Heck yes. Those names are both ridiculous and awesome.

He appears to be of acceptable complexity.

Anyone know how to make a decent walk script?

I cant seem to get one for the MAG commander. I've tried using some from other units but that doesnt look right.

Since i have absolutely no ability with photoshop:

Could someone add a Targa file w/ alpha layers to the textures i have? (there only 10-20 of them)

I'll upload them to someone, just PM me or something.

Another thing that would be very helpful would be for people with lego to just build stuff, take pictures, and display them. I'm terrible at coming up with interesting units, so just mess around with lego and a digital camera.

I've got the following modeled and textured, just need to be scripted:

MAG commander, MAG minifigs, MAG minifig construction guy, MAG light radar, MAG mex, MAG energy plant, MAG lvl 1 minifig plant, and 1 light tank.

SinBadEV, i once again am getting errors when i try to run the mod.

It crashes and says "Button9.wav Couldnt open Wav File", "Couldnt Read Sound Buffer", and "file armor.txt not found"

I know you were able to fix these problems last time so i was wondering if you (or anyone else who knows) could show me how to properly compile it? I looked through the WIKI and didnt find any help...

Sweet...what did you do to fix it?

Anywho, i got a lot of scripting done today, and all we need now is the floating/underwater version of some of them, which i think is just changed with an FBI tag.

And finally, some potential DT designs (feedback please )

:-)

Well... can the DT's actually be built by real LEGO blocks? I think in LEGO Spring, we don't have to follow the style in the original TA. Let's do it the LEGO way! Rectangular blocks will be just fine (or maybe ones with pointed top for EGADS), and they are not necessarily to be called "Dragon's teeth". Maybe we can call it BLOCKade? Maybe a Duplo brick can be the blockade for MAG.

This is why i love this mod idea...there's so much room for creativity.

Yes, the MAG blockade.

Here's a potential EGADS turret, i was just messing around with models for a bit:

When I was trying to model a MAG blockade, I suddenly thought of a minor problem: As the MAG units are randomly coloured, then how do we show the team colour?
But of course, I do want to keep the random-coloured style. Afterall, it's LEGO!

It looks something like this:

Dragons teeth dont have teamcolors on them anyway, so i see no reason why blockades should.

But i see where you're coming from. If they are all random colored, then how will the know what color is theirs? (this shouldnt be a problem for EGADS, though)

Im using the OTA logo texture for teamcolors, which are detailed and have borders, where as normal bricks have just one color. I hope that should be different enough, but we'll see once i get them ingame and test...

(which should be tomorrow, if i can figure out why the mod keeps crashing

Use a Nanoblobs-style team-dot.

Or you could have a few distinctive bricks coloured in the team colour style, with the rest of the bricks in plainer, more basic colours, allthough that still leaves room for confusion... Meh, I think Args way would work perfectly here. Team Blobs FTW.

I have come to the unfortunate realization that my 24bit textures do not match any of the 256 colors in the TA pallet...although it is close:
