Got to admit it... I prefer SupCom still... Big is to big and the small ones to small. I played on it first time yesterday... It jsut didn't quit work.
28 x 28 was teh sweet spot.
What if i said Id redo my version again with beachs... that suit anyone?

The one reason why i made this map, is that you didn't added beaches!

Yes, but i have more drive left now (as in will to live, not hard disk space), and I managed to get terregen to render out bigger images finaly. Plus... I real did feel it didn't live up to the hype. But I like the beches enough to put them back in.
Ill take that as a yes, but time constraints wise I promis nothing.

Time to make a version with trace metal in the water!
Seriously now, there is a real demand. It scares me.

Alright, I am essentially at the end of my rope. I didn't think this would be such a problem, considering that there are other maps - but Supreme Battlefield seems to be my best shot for getting into a game.
However, this map has never worked on my machine. SupCom? Sure. Small Supreme Battlefield? Of course!
Before you even assault me for "settings" or "power" I can safely say that the issue is not native with my computer. I've redownloaded the map multiple times, pathed multiple times, attempted to run different Mods on the map, unzipped it and recompressed, anything I can do without modifying the actual files. I've run larger maps before, I can pull off essentially every map I have ever downloaded - far over two hundred.
My computer is a 2.4 GHz Pentium 4, 512 MB ram, with a GeForce4 MX 420.
So, what would be the issue? SwiftSpear considers that my machine may not be able to support the textures on a field this large, but I would like to ask the map designer.

remember, there were beaches on the isthmus too! (remember the movie?) these would be nice because you could send an amphib assault to surprise a porcer (because it is rather easy to hold the center currently)

I'd like to see a medium size version with clearer metal layout, so the metal can be fairly split up when you're playing 5 ppl on one team. Becomes a bit messy as it is now, esp since some get geothermals and others don't.
