To Alantai. Try the same. Or try actually flying the planes nearer the enemy, I had that problem till the planes actually flew over the enemy.........

hhmm but I do fly them over the enemy and they still wotn bomb the buildings. Maybe I'm just nto giving them a chance with all thsoe hawks

i dont like it. i mean have a way of telling ur units to do that, not having ur units JUST targe ground or air. as in i want to make my air power knock out all of the air stuff, then switch to ground attack and watch them kock out the rest of the enemy.

I don't really think it's an issue, Will. Numerous mods (UH, ME, ... AA?) tell units to target ground/air only. This is especially important to reign in missle tower forests. And if you want your forces to attack ground and air alternately, why don't you just hold down shift and click on the ground enemies, and then the air enemies?

remember that seven island map, the really big one. i loved building a whole row of big berthers, nothing could get past.

oh yer i think air units need to be beefed up and made slightly more expensive. air power should be the most important aspect as it is in real life :shock:

Actually aicraft are already powerful enough, and we use them enmasse, try playing a game with 20 Adv Aircraft plants churnign out hawks with farks helping out.

the way i play is with ONLY air. i dont build anything. this means that my firepower is extrememly mobile and so is my defence, this means i can concentrate it. for example i was playing against a friend of mine who build ALOT of ground units and so on. they didnt last very long coz most of them were not designed to take on air units, so i won that battle. after that it was easy to take out his base. so if u make the iar units stronger i will win even more games :roll: so make them stronger

aha, well maybe if you had the misfortune of a ground base right next to you you'd think again. Besides Air only?!?!?!?!?! You should try using const.veh then build air, much quicker startup

yer. i mean air power for military units, i build with trucks only. its much faster. but when it comes to air power no equal ground force can compete

not so sure about that...slasher/samson swarms with a few mobile flakkers and patrolling vamps/hawks would drop more air forces down rather quickly...the flakkers aren't even really needed, just a nice touch to drop gunships and bombers faster

or if you're going navy, archers/shredders absolutely dominate air power (yes, i know they're a specifically anti air unit, but its still amazing to see them in action @_@)

i dont know. from my personal experinece air power always wins, hands down. ill stick to my planes and gunships.

That's not very fair.
Going only air has a severe drawback of making you extremely vulnerable against rushing ground forces, those first 10/15 mins until you have lvl-2 aircrafts, the gunships.
Not to mention that the standard rules for playing on the Internet usually are «no gunships» because the Brawlers cause much LAG...

Besides, with air your limiting your speed with which to get up a base, since const aircraft are so slow to build and are easily destroyed

I just added warlord's request for weather effects. I also added peoples' wishes to have a dither or fade-out mode for parts of the map that have not yet been revealed or are out of sight.

Added the info on guard units standing at a distance so they don't crowd the units they're guarding.

Also added requests for weather effects like snow and rain.
