I believe the setting actually stops it from loading those widgets. Car or somebody will have to confirm, though

It doesn't take effect until you reload LuaUI. I think that's written somewhere on the relevant menu screen, actually.

Ah ha so it is as I said you cannot merely disable enable stuff like that

Indeed you cannot!
Not without a /LuaUI reload, at least!

I would've thought it would've been easy enough to program a little button or function that simply reloads LuaUI?

Wigdets are forbidden to run the command /luaui reload, I guess the dev were afraid a widget would use it in its initialize and cause an endlessly reloading loop or something.

You two must have great fun the bedroom.
Its called relationship, because unrelated people like you jaz, stay outside. :)
Some guys are irritable when they're around women and they are not in a relationship. That might be what's up with Jaz. I've seen women do that too and am not sure why they do that, but it's annoying. After all, it's not the random guy's fault that they're not in a relationship.

Wrong. Chilli is a framework for creating a GUI. Many widgets in CA use Chilli to create parts of the interface.
The <enabling/disabling of local widgets>-functionality is mainly implemented in the widget handler. Its setting can be controlled from a (Chilli) widget (accessable via menu).

+1
Rather have LuaUI crash and force the user to reload manually than freezing up spring.

Sorry, when I meant Chilli I meant the framework and all its default elements.

Default elements? Like scrollbars and buttons?

I mean the widgets that come packed with the framework when Chilli is installed. Like Chilli Chat, Tooltip, Minimap etc. Whenever casual players
speak about "Ice UI" or "Chilli", they're usually meaning the standard widgets that come with the GUI are actually part of it, regardless of whether they actually technically are or not.
Similar to way the majority of people imply games on the Spring engine when they say something like, "Spring is cool".

there is no "comes with chilli" you have to extract it from CA. and whatever widgets you take are your choice. For example, I took the minimap, chat and info boxes because they were useful. however the music widget is mine

The only reason I am using chillichat is because i felt it was better than nothing.

Seems people are having difficulty countering hovertrucks.
Hovertrucks are lite armor vehicles.
Tanks are a bad counter:
explosive damage with lite armor
use something with medium armor and you will WTF pwn hovertrucks.
