Lol maybe gus but not if im not informed before hand :P
Gpox jusy beat me 3 or 4 times consecutivly in 1v1's! its those damn core rushing units the zippers that arm has no decent counter for that got me :P i almost had a good force at one point but he arrived 30 seconds to early for two sentinels to come online and i lost. Goodluck with him!

i saw the 1st 2 of those matches and if i'm fair, the zipper tactic does have an advantage indipendent of the quality of the player (although gpox is good :D) and it does seem very hard to counter...

2 or more missle towers is the hard counter to zippers...

Jethro suck at killing zippers, they will get killed on a ratio of like 2 to 1, plus they cost more and have a higher build time then MT, and they monoplize the Kbot lab's time which is a major factor in the early game. Rocket Kbots work well, but they suck against air as fighters and gunships tend to dodge the slower moving, poor turnrate projectiles, and they also suffer from the same monoplization issue. Watch SJ or any of the best XTA players in replays, you will always see some MT.

Was thinking of having 1 spectator at every game.. to watch rules being followed (no rules!), and.. dunno..

but maybe its better we all get to see the replays from FU.

Be sure to rate it and comment it (and save it) before uploading.

naming convention could have the name of the group(color), the the round (er.. 1st round is this one?) and.. version :D, map and players?..

TOUR_Blue_1stR_EnligthenedOne_MOnG

suggestions?

Having a spectator can cause suspicions. I've been acused before of having «a system» with my mates when spectating one of my PT mates. Anyway, not only because of suspicions, it is indeed possible to «cheat» through a spectator.

About uploading them, i was already thinking that it would be «mandatory».

My sugestion:
Host uploads it (to avoid duplication of files with people making mistakes as to whom should upload it)
Naming convention:
TournamentName.Date.Round.SectionColour.PlayerNumVsPlayerNum

Ex:
IT.5-11-2005.R1.Red.1Vs2

might aswell include modname and mapname so that they can be FUed and anybody can watch them just as any other replay...
