I'm very glad you guys loved the movie, but I'm not going to see it. Its nothing but more anti-American/anti-military crap from Hollywood. (America are the invading humans, the Navi are the Native Americans that we come in and kill off)

Happy, happy, joy, joy. Hollywood can suck it. Give me a pro-American, pro-military movie, or hell, just give me a movie with NO POLITICAL STANDPOINT AT ALL!! -wipes sweat off forehead- Ok. I'm done ranting. :P 8)

I kinda agreed with the political point the movie was making but that's not why I went to see it and not what I enjoyed it for. It's an awesome movie to watch even if you disagree with the message behind it.

You're one of these:

a) Troll
-obvious

b) Fanatical patriot
-every major conflict movie must be about America

c) Clueless
-American natives won and control America just like the natives in Avatar

Well you can't have the baddies winning in a movie now can you? And that's what makes irl, irl. The "bad guys" always win.

Did you realise the forum has built in smileys? Did you see the "Regret" smiley? Did you upload that image to tinypic yourself? Why go to so much effort to post a smiley? Did you realise the smiley hosted on the forums is a whole lot less sizey? Did you do this intentionally?

I hope you :regret: what you have done.

It isn't anti-American to be anti-military and it certainly isn't anti-military to depict a conflict in a negative light. Pretty feeble trolling, even this late in the year. Egg nog does not excuse.

Be more observant. Compare the two smileys.

I agree about it being shite that the mineral was called unobtainium, at first i thought they where joking too.

Also, a small point: pandora is portrayed as having a lower gravity than earth, yet there are large deposits of a previously unknown element (which must be pretty damn heavy cause we discovered them all up to very heavy elements) near the crust. If the planet really does have a lower gravity (which probably means a lower density than earth) then the heavy elements like the new one would sink the fuck down.

Also, hugeass gas giants nearby make for stunning visuals but the tidal forces from such things would make for not so fun planets.

this might have been a joke on cameron's side what ridiculous names other script writers come up with for their random element of supernatural power to fill plot holes with

i thought the movie was perfect but apparently it pissed off alot of noobs. Great effects, good plot (what was so bad about it anyway? wtf?), and awesome culture/people/language/planet. Also cool tech from humans too.
