Yeah you get VIP status, ie you don't have ads or have to wait 3 seconds to download.

He's doing fine except for the internet Nazis at his university. I got the impression that even connecting to IRC was a struggle, though he could still post on the forum if he wanted to.

i didnt even know there was ever any ads.. AdBlock plus for firefox blocks any ads, flash or images or watever.. and is pretty infallible, ive only had to block one in 6 months + of using it..
