Since you are aiming at a real-time Advance Wars, have you looked into any Battalion Wars (2) gameplay style? Your models look very nice by the way, and it will be interesting to see how this works out.

It wont be working out at all until someone can help me with LUA. I can mod units and script and do pretty much everything else but until i find someone willing to write the basic LUA that will govern the game, we're stuck.

I volunteer moral support. You can do it Sheekel!!! I would recomend building the thing into a crappy-generic TA clone so that it's easier for whoever decided to LUA it up for you eventually has an easier time of it... I'd look into learning lua but... you know... dwarf fortress...

As of now the only thing i need to know how to do is Spawn multiple start units.
I have a capture system implemented completely without the use of LUA.
If nobody steps up, i presume I'll be able to learn LUA eventually and make a script for proper start games.

Spawn multiple start units?
That sounds extremely easy, it should be a breeze. You got this Sheekel

For the AA turret, are the front faces of the guns flat? It looks like there a a few wasted polys with all those triangles. Not much to count towards anything tho.

Yeah thats what happens when i make cylinders in Rhino and try to mesh them...i get a ton of polys and im really to lazy to clean it up manually...

Textured for script testing. The folks at S:44 graciously offered me use of their infantry scripts. Slight model tweaking and such has yielded what i think looks fairly natural:
