Ramps like that remind me of astroturf, it won't matter how much you try visually, so long as it's that shape it will look unnatural, and remind people of the only other place they've seen grass in that arrangement.

I kind of wanted a Russian winter coat look, but made it look like an old style leather foot ball helmet wearing scottsman with a nerf gun.

Maybe a lego man version is a better take?
I like the proportions better, but with this design you get this problem

to me they look like pixel-crystals, growing outwards (and a bit down).
are they generated, or fixed models?

Its just a single dumb vine model i made. Then I used a script to place them and rotate them so they grow vertically.

Work in Re-gress... dunno, but it misses something, cant lay my finger on it (has way to sharp edges for that) but it looks not like a nanotic grown building, it looks like someone dropped a black glass bottle. Clean up the map afterwards, but no, reclaiming is to much work for todays youth.
This generic combine metall has a real big problem with big objects..
