Already made T/IS-10M awhile ago (few pages back). The copula machineguns already have models done elsewhere so I did not make them, but they will both have them when it is "finished".

I decided not to scratch the whole thing, and instead work on the parts I really didn't like. I think it turned out better, but man this is going to be a pain to UV and texture.

maybe 2 models mashed into one and using the hide/show trick

edit: Bob nice Mech but those Missile Racks looks like an oversized speaker :S

Im passing unit health to the fragment shader and put a damage texture into the 1 remaining free texture channel I had. Then I just blend the damage on according to the units HP.

those are s3os. when he says extra channel he is talking about blue channel.
