hah, looks sweet. dunno, i personaly like cartoonish style, wc3 graph is still my fav of all games :D i dunt rly like texture of the baloon, but i dont know what u want to achieve so w/e

looking good bob, but i miss the missiles and railguns

The texture turned out kind of grungy and not as cute as the first pic I posted. But I don't know how to make it look cute with out making the texture look undetailed. Any suggestions?

I'm also willing to have some one else have a go at it if they want.

Any ways, rail guns and missiles to come.

Fiddle with contrast, brightness and saturation. Just use adjustment layers so you tweak to your heart's content without having to flatten everything. You've a yellowish colour palette, which is nice and warm except for that grey thing on the top, which isn't; fiddle with that thing's colour so it goes together well. Equally, the main tarpoulin cover looks dark, especially compared to the wings; try and make it look like they're made of the same material. Basic gist of it would be darkish brown/red mahogany sort of wood, with the tarps a paler colour of that, maybe slightly yellower. Ropes can be dark, and I'd suggest making the bolty whatsits look a gray metal; kinda looks like they've rusted atm, and it'll add a point of contrast. At the moment, the top is overall darker than the bottom, which is kinda weird.
