In this case, map is larger than play area. So maps with no external areas to be shaded will still end abruptly.

Very cool, Behirith. If you can make that 2-5% on the inside of the playable area, should work for most maps. What's performance for that like, and when can we test it out?

That's awesome, Behe! I look forward to an ugly map edge-free future! :-)

Now, four questions:
1: what kind of fps hit does this awesomeness have?
2: Can we have multicolored fog? (IE dark gray/light gray)
3: Could it be integrated into maps with fog (like xenolithic) at no/less fps drop?
4: How effective, if at all, do you think a widget that automatically does this to older maps be?

Does it still require the unplayable area to use up space from minimap? That's the biggest issue as far as I see, it hurts the playability no matter what computer you have.

Also Agorm, your unit is on the rocks, i like how it curves, the trapeztracks, the whole thought through, and lined it up in one piece. Still, it tingles like a deju vue, as if i had seen something like that before...

It's loosely based on something from 'bubblegum crisis' from the the late 1980's early 90s. But I'm sure it influence some of the art in Geass.

I want to do some SAMAS power armor from the rift's game (flying power armor)
But I don't know how I'd make them work in game. Possibly only fire while stationary and then fly to move?
