Perhaps all the good players read this thread, know that you can't deal with comnapping and do it because of that?

if it's true i hope they go to play with others "good" players to do that or they stop fuck noobs parties as they do lot of the time !!!

woh I wasnt bashing or anything. I was just saying that I usualy have big gangs of gator and riot tanks so not much micro is possible beyond setting a hotkey to "select all units on less that 50% health" to pull out crippled boys, and making sure the lads are heading in the right direction and not bunching up.

Being a nub sucks: You have to post tonnes of threads complaining about how all good players are meanies cause they call you nub and use advanced tactics to pwn you easily, and threads about how units are unbalanced because good players pwn you with them. In addition, since all your friends in the game are nubs, you have to rely on them as allies, and must post additional threads complaining about team stacking and how the nubishness of your allies is exploited by decent players. You abhor such games as 1v1s on decent non-porcy non-GF/SM maps with appropriate game settings, such as com ends and thus never gain any actual skill at the game. LIFE SUX 2 BE NUB, DON'T BE ONE!

Drolito isn't actually too bad a player, he just doesn't like gamey tactics. A lot of people are like that.

In fact, drolito aparears to be a noob because he talks like a noob , but he is a nice player.

Combombing is not a advanced tactic, its a overpowered tactic like Krogoth spam.

all im gonna say here is all that is possible in game/mod is "legal"
if u want to combomb just go ahead if its possible... if that would be considered as a bad tactic it woulda been made impossible todo it allready

Overpowered? It's not overpowered unless it has much higher chances for victory than other strategies and Krogoth spam doesnt have much of a chance at that.

true about noobs playing with noobs and refusing to play with decent settings and never getting a good game, but drolito does play on decent settings too

Yes. Basicly it goes "hey guys, you should do a bunch of this ethical stuff!", and then everyone else goes "you're wrong because ZOMG NEWB!"

If someone says something stupid/wrong, calling them stupid/newb doesn't show them why they are wrong, and effectively you lose...

In this case comm bombing. No, it's not unbalanced. No, it's not a newb tactic. If you are a good player you most likely should have the air defence to counter a comm bomb. For the love of god, all you need is 3 missle towers. Yes, you can get them up before the air fac and atlas is finished if you go kbot or vec. I find it stupid that you say you know who the players who use the strat are and you still lose to it. You're not a good player if all you know how to do is atlas bomb, granted. It will be countered and you will lose the majority of the time. But, that doesn't mean using an atlas bomb occationally is newb, or a bad strat in general. This is true of any other strat, you're not a good player if all you know how to do is bomber rush, or all you know how to do is nuke rush, or krogoth rush. All strats are counterable, comm bombing is no different. It's just another strat.

The most intelligent thing posted in this thread was when Nixa mentioned the com loses a lot of value after about 8 minutes. I would add to this by saying that as time goes on your com becomes less and less valuable as a fighting unit, builder and even as a bomb (as the enemy will build more and more AA). So basically at some point in the game you should think about if it would be good to bomb, where you should do it, and how will you follow it up so that the enemy doesn't eat his body.

Well, we had a big discussion about implementing upgrades, i.e. how to make sure the com doesn't get useless after 8 minutes and all the *A players complained that we're going to ruin their favourite mod.

But it's not for me that i make this thread ... i am never combombed because i know how to defend against ... im not comnapped for the same raison and i know to move my com when atlas come ...
But we dont always play with players who know that ...

now i have understand : at all the beginning i say : "make a Laser quick men" and after 2 mn i say "dont forget AA" ... but some players dont react ... and sometimes players profite about that ...

But the only thing is to think about all players in the game if they want to see that sort of thing or if it is only funny for u ... next time u want to make bad thing, think about that before please and dont do it ...

It would technically be possible to prevent the com from exploding while loaded but I think most BA players like the mod the way it is, with combombing and all that jazz.
