Awesome to see this mod is being worked on! Some questions:
- How far are you guys?
- Will this be OTA-content free?
- When will it be time for a public beta?

- There are only about 18 units in-game at the moment, but we're going fairly quickly.
- Yes, no OTA content that I know of.
- Perhaps in a few weeks when all infantry are done, balanced and working, we'll release a little infantry demo.

Lots more units added. Sniper (kneeling) and machinegun/anti-tank rifle (prone) aiming pose finalizes (see pic). Added Soviet DP Light Machinegun, Soviet Commissar (Commander). Added German 8cm GrW 34 Infantry Mortar (full script pending). Once this mortar is complete, ALL German infantry will be done. Soviets still need: M1910 Maxim Machinegun, 82mm PM-37 Mortar, and Partisan.

Have you actually got the troops scripted so they taken kneeling and prone positions when they stop to fire?

i think this is a slightly different type of gameplay to company of heros not to mention free.

Uh, yes, can't you see the picture above the in-game shot of the Soviet truck?
And unless Company of Heroes allows you to control a hundred infantrymen, 50 tanks and vehicles, bomber fleets and fighter squadrons... then no, it's nothing like CoH. :)

TA content isn't free. And I doubt it will use TA content.

I've been trying to get this done for a couple of weeks now but failed in the last step because I suck at maths (especially trigonometry, can't think in 3D and so on).
