It's a pity such a good map suffers from such shitty compression. I'm only complaining about this because I notice your maps frequently have suckier compression than others. Please work on this!

How have you managed to have bad compression and still be 52 meg is beyond me...
Even at 32 x 32...
I rekon you just needed a few tiles in there mate to bring it down... if you used a 512 tile for the underwater bits it would still look great and drop the sands texture use...
But its prob to late for that now... :)

That isnt a problem as much as the size of this mofo, i belive its the largest springmap to date. (filesizewise)

Yes it's a pity, probably would have been a lot more popular in the rooms if it wasn't a 52mb download.

And it's nearly impossible to play on low end systems. The small version runs smooth though.

Is there actually a SupCom mod being worked on for Spring, or have just a few units been ported in? Either way, could I trouble someone to send me the mod used to play with monkeylords?

You can get the monkey lrod unit on downlaod.
And yes there's a supcom mod in progress but I beleive it's an OTA mod primarily.

Because of the big armies, obviously.

Who die very fast (even the Big Battle Ships) - and the Bases who are build in one huge rush... ( There were no extractors or such things visible on the Map - things that would have made a tactical Movement vor the SC nessecary)... lets hope it was just cheated for the Show - and Speed + 3

Isn't the name of this map supposed to be Isthmus?
People generally only play the small version. Maybe you could do a medium version or something.

The problem with the big version is that theres so little metal, so far apart, Its meant for more players but theres not enough metal for them and it just makes it drag on, especially early game where your comm needs to run a marathon for those 3 first mexes
