Ok, maybe you can play whenever you want but that does not means that all players can do the same. For example a new player will not have as much invitations than you so he may leave the community by knowing only 8v8-12v12 games... which I think is quite sad.

I like this idea, but I would rather periodically send chickens to the less aggressive guy!
(... it would also remind me of dune 2 with the f**** sardaukars inviting themselves in the battle  )

this mix chicken/ba could lead to some huge fighting mess

PS: still no one interested by implementing my idea of 'player request' to huge autohost to facilitate filling small games?

There is/was a ladder, it died quickly: http://ladder.springrts.com/

Admittedly speaking, I think if those of us involved with the ladder (Or the previous one under MelTrax) had stayed focused and not become quickly demoralized we could have improved and managed the service to sustainability.

i meant the people crying loud for ladder but not playing it, just to be clear. ladder would work fine until today if all of them actually played it.

I dont know if the ladder is a good thing but I know that TERA/Glados autohost keep running upto 14v14 games... and if you want a 3v3 game you can wait for hours... :(

I find this hard to believe or do you mean 1v1 games?

Yep, not alot to choose from.

Can't really learn much in a 8vs8, or even a 6v6.

so saying it is empty is not true.

When you post on the forum and cry NO ONE IS ONLINE, people freak out and then don't go online themselves thinking that there will be no one there..

SUGGESTION:
if you are seeing few games, state the following:
Timezone
time in your timezone(ranges are prefered)
Are the group servers(IE dsd6v6) full?

It can help in determining player flows better. Because in american primetime(when I usually am online) I have no issue finding something to spectate. So I suspect there are certain time zones that are lacking and maybe we need to focus these groups better.

how about a honor that shows like rank. And if you slap one in the irc, he loses honor, and honor can only be regained by a classic 1vs1 duell.

I would like to, but almost no admins answers that threads. Plus I am not an admin so I just cannot do anything.
That would be only for BA ofc btw. But I just had no feedbacks.

I guess poeple are too busy answering drama-threads about why-fags-are-always-the-last-to-stay-?-because-they-are-fags thread :D
