hehe :D
nice idea, but could have unwanted side effects:
To better simulate user behavior TrackMeNot uses a dynamic query mechanism to 'evolve' each client (uniquely) over time, parsing the results of its searches for 'logical' future query terms with which to replace those already used.
so you have it installed in your workplace, and it randomly decides to search for "porn" one day (or something that leads it to "porn" as a logical future search term), then...
your (conservative) boss comes to your desk, and wants to show you something on youtube, on whichs start page you get video suggestions related to your searches...
"ouh.. aehhh.. why... ah must be that thing i installed..."
"you have porn software installed on your office PC?"
"no, no, it is just searching for random things, so they will not know what i really care about"
".. and what would that be? :/"
"aehh.. work related stuff of course!"
"yeah, i see... :/"

the idea is that you use a lot of seeds that are more or less porn irrelevant, then most of the searches will not cover the subject -> autosuggest will still not pick them due to very tiny amount
I used several news sites as sources, so I guess I'm not exactly safe from that scenario

You could always just set your profile as nonsearchable and only add close friends to your circles...... afterall your updates are only Public if you tell google to share them with the public, and you can disable resharing (non Public posts can't be reshared as Public)

AF, Google still has and uses the data, no matter how you tag it.
actually, they just get more info about you, when you tag it.
as a minor note: assuming they would work together with, for example, the CIA, i am pretty sure that they would get all the data too, even if you marked it as non-public, and did not add the CIA to your friends list.

THE CIA IS AFTER YOU!!!!
We must be careful, our subversive spring forums are being monitored by agents.
The increased percentage of high status personas on these forums makes Hoi's arguments very relevant.
You must treat your facebook and google+ like a modeling book, only there to show your best side.
Do not expose any information about yourself aside from the official trivial facts!
We must care friends, we worked hard and long to achieve our high positions in society, we can never know when someone or some agency will try and use our google+ accounts against us.
Let us write 10 amendments that will guide us in our virtual lives.
I shell begin.
#1 Thou shell not post naked images of thyself online.

did you understand the same thing i understood?
Party at gotas place? Shit will be so gatecrash!
Nah, i think not before long, the intertubes mob will offer the first
"Security" Protection Trojan- "become part of the safe Zone, download our Botnet, donate part of your traffic to us, and we in return will make sure, you are not tracked, not by google, not by goverment, not by facebook. Get your Apps for free with us."
Sounds like a valid buisness modell to me. So lets wait and see.

The CIA doesn't need you to have put it all on a profile, and doesn't care if it's on Google Facebook or Twitter.
The real thing to think about is:
- Is the CIA so incompetent that it requires a social network to learn anything about you?
- Is Google going to fight the CIAs court requests ( which ti has in the past unlike facebook)
- Do you have anything that you would like to hide from the CIA that you are stupid enough to put on a social networking site, nevermind online?
- Do you feel it is utterly necessary to fill in every single field on a social networking site?
- Do you feel the need to truthfully enter your data into a social networking site?
- Do you believe that what you entered into said social networking site is more valuable and more important than the information your government is happy to to send to the CIA at the drop of a hat?
- Do you believe that the CIA and ONLY the CIA would be interested in your details if you had done bad things, and that your local law enforcement, and your governments agencies wouldn't also be involved?
- Do you exclusively use social networks to talk about personal issues that you would never use a cellphone network of mail for on the grounds that anyone with a cheap motorolla phone could be eavesdropping?
- Do you avoid talking about anything that may identify you in any way shape or form when in public places, and avoid CCTV cameras and possible locations you could be observed?
Now considering all the above, do you think it's dangerous and a gross breach of privacy to avoid social networks on the grounds that the CIA or FBI may request information about which cat pictures you +1'd and how many times you retweeted nyancat?
Do you think its a gross violation of your privacy for the FBI to find out that the address you listed on your facebook is indeed identical to the Tax returns, birth certificates, and bills they could obtain with far greater ease?
And would you rather your social network directly sold your details for profit? Or would you rather they used that information to make things more relevant, and sell relevancy instead, making you a faceless consumer until such a time that you make yourself known?
Or would you rather not have a google profile with a big shiny off switch for behavioural advertising in the settings?

Its a trick! He wants to expose you to even more porn!

AF, I don't care about the datat I would put in Google+, since I'm not interested in Google+.
I am however annoyed that Google has already drawn my profile from my search queries (even though I clean cookie all the times), and is making it available to anyone that can fake my config (browser version, computer model, etc..).
It is not just something I read in article, already I can type
only two letters in
http://www.google.com and it instantly shows as first the website I'm used to go to.
