I don't see how this game can even remotely compare to DF or MC. Might as well sticky the million billion other platformers.

no, I played it for about 20 minutes, grew bored

came on forum and saw how everyone was so excited about it

went back and forced myself to play it under the impression that hidden depths would be revealed

hour later, no hidden depths and sucky game, will gather moss in my downloads folder forever more

comparing this to MC and DF is a joke, hell nethack is more deserving of a sticky

Spelunky isn't groundbreaking, but it isn't shit either, now please stop shitting all over this thread that is intended for fans to discuss the game together. Didn't your mothers ever teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?

Seriously though, being a dick here only annoys people who like this game, the developer won't change anything based on your dickary, and it doesn't really matter weather something is stickied or not. These little indie games are fun, so they're a fun thing to highlight in the off topic section of the forums. Better than some horrible political thread or something similar.

There shouldn't be sticky because if the game is really that interesting, then topic will be bumped anyway.

If it's gonna create drama, fine whatever.

It didn't mean Spelunky specifically. I don't really understand why Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress are stickied either.

Also like it as said before you can dig ground with picaxe and you even get a char later that has one instead of a whip.
