+1, i dont understand why so many people have a problem shutting off their computer... even when they dont even have a server up or anything nerdy like that... ive heard people leave computer on because they dont want to miss some chat on msn/irc.. lolz addicts = fail.

You probably save the harddrive cost in a year by saving the electricity you wasted in that time when your computer was on while you were at sleep and/or work/school/not-using-computer-for-a-long-period-of-time.
