Ah that's not a bad idea to test the feature, with the isFeature tag. I should have thought of that :P

Yeah I'll share some examples when I get to it. I'll try and actually do it, it's been tough to stay motivated with Minecraft about...

and don't feel guilty, I really like what you've made. You did the hard part as far as I'm concerned, be proud of what you did.

you could make some buildings units, so they can blow up! ie the gas station.
also animation like smoking chimneys etc.

True, that would definitely make the map more "alive." But also gets into territory I'm not quite as familiar with, but I'm sure could be ironed out.

I grow so very tired of working on this map. If anyone has suggestions or could show me how to make a cleaner texture for the roads I would appreciate it.

What do you mean by 'cleaner'?

Its hard to tell from the screenshots, but the edges of the circular roads are pretty jagged and have odd artifacts left from some part of the process Snoop used to make the texture. I honestly don't know/remember the exact process, but it apparently didn't yield the right results.

Its quite the anomaly is my understanding.

The texture maps are basically made off scaling the height maps.

I find that "vectorizing" textures in inkscape before stretching them out helps with that type of thing.
