no. don't go there. nobody shits on other peoples work. its the quickest way to wear out your welcome in this community.
bottom line : make your game! people are responding to you negatively because you don't have anything to show currently. people show up here every week announcing new projects, and then they never come up with anything to show. people on here are jaded by this, and when they see a new project announced by a forum newcomer, of course they will be skeptical.
i'm willing to entertain anyones ideas... anyone with a positive attitude... calling someones work shit is not positive in the slightest.

We're not bothered about person A who boasts about how he could have helped us. He was here and he didn't help us at all, just boasted about his ideas and insulted our developers.
I'm far more interested in the like of aGorm, who didn't bother with the pleasantries and chit chat and just posted results. Yes we're bothered about people who bring results. You have provided no results, so we're not inclined to help you or take you seriously. It is unlikely other communities will deviate from this rule, and previous communities you've barged into have done much of the same, only this community decided rather than to say 'good luck' and usher you onwards as quickly as possible, they decided to try and interact.

I am willing to help any legitimate new modder, be they an experienced community member moving into it (aGorm), a former member who has come back to the fold (Masse) or a newer member (oksnoop, kerr and others).
I am not willing to help, nor expend any time or effort on someone who posts multiple nonsense threads with zero Spring content, only a few beginners-level photoshopped UI examples (with no proof that it is their own work) and behaves repulsively to existing community members.
In fact I'm disgusted that I allowed myself to be drawn in to even making this post.

Well I think this guy has now shown us how he is not capable nor willing to become part of the community.
Quite immature also to start brag with non complete, running game and criticize others work.
There is a long way from idea and design to actual game. Mock ups and UI sketches are not games... I can make them pretty easily by myself also. Other thing is to start implement them.
Good luck with your projects and company though!

Nobody shited on your ideas & work, but on the apparent lack of those
Like if I receive an email from some south african millionaire looking for someone to marry his hot daughter who will receive gigantic inheritance soon, to get her out of the country Im not gonna trust him right away. Maybe he wants just to pocket the cash I need to send for the plane tickets, or maybe said daughter has AIDS... You never know from a guy who just talks without proof
You don't go there mate! jy sal n fokken warm klap kry van my af ... Al my werk is copyright. is jou game ooit copyright! Mmmmmmmm....

There is a difference between:
- raising a valid but not necessarily pleasant point
and
- Attacking and insulting the work of another person
One involves asking for proof of knowledge and skills.
The other involves dishonourable attacks on a persons ability and character

There isnt a difference when there are people who are perfectly capable of combining both. You seem to think you have the right to do the second if you manage to do the first at the same time.

Wow.
This is precisely what we should not be seeing here, when new people show up.
I've read from the start of his threads, and this guy was harmless, nice, and besides some English grammar issues, trying to present himself professionally. Then you people ganged up on him and ran him out on a rail.
Great job.

he claims to be experienced in working with unreal and some others engines, having made an rts with own engine and then all he posts are screenshots of an UI? (i did not see them but yeah..)
And if you google a little bit you find lots of postings/pages like "details will follow" but nothing else.
Does not seem professionally or even serious to me
