Why is everyone always all like: X-amount of time I've wasted on Spring? Was all this time really a waste to you all? I have nearly only good memories of the times I spent ingame. I want to remember it as a productive entertaining time-usage, not as a waste!

maybe coz he deserves this hate... seriously add new rank and extend time needed for each rank

Phoenix worx lobby uses either one that they call "navy", or another they call "total annihilation". I didn't mean we must have finnish army insignia, but any of british/american would do imo.

I think I'll just add the rank to the server while working on it in coming days, and any lobbies will probably show a blank spot and shouldn't crash horribly. Enough waiting.

If you work on the server be sure to commit it in the git repository.

(And in case you restart it, it would be great if you can swap the current dir out for a git checkout, so it's easier to push/pull new source to the server. Also would be nice if you made startup script write a pid file so we can monitor it better in monit )

This is a dumb idea, how would you balance an ultra star? It would be impossible. And frankly most vets arnt that much better than gold stars.

as overall amount of vetran players increases, the lower the skill level will be.

I'd already bet that 50% of vets are not that skilled already.

We would balance the ultra ranks the same as the highest rank at present.

why do we need new ranks again? they dont seem to serve much purpose anyway. If you want new ranks maybe the ranking system need repair.

guys, new ranks- any rank above gold star- should be balanced as a gold star in autohosts. anything else will promote massive smurfing and makes no sense anyway, since most platinum stars are probably rusty anyway after getting bored of 60,000 minutes of the same game

When you look at the list of vets and gold stars in lobby, a much smaller portion of vets is horrible stone age noobs when you compare to the gold stars. There is some difference between those ranks at least

Yes, imo, the more ranks there are, the more balance can kind of work?
