YHCIR wrote:@Regret, would also be cool for minimap to be like the old BA one. i.e dragable resizeable (and proportionate)
You can turn off the LolUI minimap, it will enable the old one.

Did you delete the old LolUI folder?

Is the slowdown present in the BA LolUI version?
(delete your LolUI in widgets folder and enable LolUI in BA 6.91)

What OS are you on?

How much does your fps drop when you enable LolUI in middle of an average sized (4v4) game?

hi, sry for the late reply
i was sleeping
i cant test a big game right now, i have school pretty soon

the version included with BA 6.91 has an error in the menu @ line 69
but i do remember release 7 not having any slowdowns at all

windows xp, sapphire toxic hd 3780, 1 core pentium 4 3.2ghz @ 3.65ghz

not sure about average sized game, but just starting with the commanders startscript on small_divide lags just the same. the fps is fine (~130) for about 5 seconds then goes down (~3-6) for a few seconds. its a cycle. the profiler indicates its during the drawscreen phase, and "b" shows that its definately an interface slowdown. everything is fine when i press f5

ill try to test a bigger game when i get back, but i dont think it will change anything.

Behavior when running directly spring.exe can be glitchy as I didn't test that at all.

i wrote that to show that it lagged no matter how simple the setup
i also tried hosting solo games to see if it made any difference
ba, ba chickens, nota, nota spacebugs, 1 bot, not bots
the result was the same for me

Disable all other widgets, leave only LolUI enabled and see if it still happens.

I was wondering that too, it's still a fantastic widget though

Hmm, I like it, but one thing I don't :)
Text on the order buttons for longer text buttons is waaay to small ^_^

Doesn't seem necessary, there's some space left and right for those :)

requests:
  • Make the borders draggable so we can resize without faffing around with a menu
  • Make things snap to edges and borders
  • Aswell as snapping, add buffer borders around objects so we can align them better ( and look prettier ), and less overlapping boxes. A 5px margin around all controls like minimaps and resource bars would help a lot.
  • Allow resizing a control to push adjacent controls over.
Otherwise a very nice UI
