Someone doesnt needs to live in your house for there to be social interaction... And I dont know in what country you live, but in my country people love their parents :)

they will still be most of the time alone if you dont LIVE with them. that was my point.

Well the family will not move back to their house but I know quite a lot of parents that moved to the house of one of their sons in their very old age.
