why don't you use meltrax's widget settings to add a bloom level setting to your widget ?

Therefore you need an engine based system, which can render everything into a floating point texture, so you can differ between ambient and specular lighting+self illum. etc.

Ok this was working great for me until I updated the drivers for my 8800 GT. The new driver version is 175.19 and the screen is totally black when the bloom shader is enabled. Is there a fix for this?
