Uberserver is running a protocol that would easily handle the current spring server setup up to about 2000 users, where as the old one will suffer around 500. It's also scalable, so with some modifications we could push it up signifigantly above 2000 users (but it would require changing some things, like #main wouldn't be able to send data to every user every second since that would be too expensive in data transfer).

On the table we have a couple plans for making moderation alot quicker and easier, both for global moderators/admins, as well as for game hosts and channel moderators.

Finally, the fact that we have active development means that in the future, if we want to try things like integrated torrenting or multiple engine support there's someone there who has time to implement it. This makes things better for lobby developers, which hopefully means that in the future things get better for everyone.

Imo the only thing mods are doing worng atm is being too open to flame.

Ithink there shouldbe like 1-2 official flamers that will satisfy the communities flaming needs and all else should be banned.

Because there's a fundamental split on the internet between people who believe that they should be allowed to piss everyone off and get away scot free with being huge douchebags, and people who believe that we should all be insanely polite politicians who never address each other in a harsh way on penalty of permanent removal.

You can't possibly go one way or another without someone complaining.

Some people might have noticed there's at least one other thread going on right now complaining that people are being assholes and moderation is letting them get away with it.

I have a system, and I'm confident that it's working pretty damn good vs what I've seen in other internet communities.
