Yep. And checking the svn rev log, this hasn't been fixed.

Not sure how you could have identical entries. The installer will keep the same filename, therefore overwriting any previous versions with that name. If you wanted to keep previous versions, you would have to rename the file or redownload.

It has nothing to do with filenames. If I have 3 packages with name=Simbase; and different versions, Spring.exe will be unable to differentiate between them.

Well if you think this will be a big issue can you report it to mantis? I haven't seen any issues with generic filenames and playing normally.

Peet, keep the version in both the tag and the name. It seems that the TASServer protocol uses the mod name and as such tasclient cant tell the difference between 2 versions of a mod with the same mod name.

Either betalord will have to intervene and specify a new addition to the protocol, or change the syntax so say the modname must have the version string appended or something, or all mods should have the version string in both the tag and the modname.

lordmat, if maps are included with gundam, EE_riverglade would be good for now. I am moving, I am not sure if you saw the posts. Most of my posting is on my dads pc. So I cannot answer any gundam related questions as I cannot post regularly. Anyway, I am happy with just gundam getting included.

I just requested EE_riverglade as a general map but if it has to be just for gundam that is fine.

and btw ... when spring 0.76 will be released, there won't be any problems if 150people try to download the mods and map at the same time ?

Could be, I'm not sure what we can do about that though. People who just want to upgrade don't have to do as much downloading. I currently have it set to only download upgraded mods (that they already have) for users who already have spring installed. That's would be a max of 20MB for each user if they had both BA and XTA.

I noticed you included the Charlie in the Hills map in the map pack. Could you please consider replacing it with the updated version, found here:

(Edit: while i'm talking up my own content, I think Barren would be worth including in the 1v1 pack:)

Well I replaced the file (has to be in .bmp format, and I think the installer reduces the color depth to 256).
