Still, wouldnt surprise me if Halo 3 or UT3 gets taken up as a major competitive esport title on consoles in the near future.

WELCOME TO THE FUTURE.
Halo might be for noobs from the perspective of a counterstrike progamer, but for me its one of the first fps games that i really liked, you can hate halo, you can cry that its for the noobs, but you cant take away the fact that its being played in one of the most competitive esport tournaments and that a lot of people are enjoying it.
But in any case the real skill in games is in RTS genre not FPS as we all know ;]

One day we will all be playing Dating Sims, moaning about those absurd, skill-less RTS players.
"Psh. If you ain't trying to seduce the schoolgirl, your teacher, your best friend and the copy center clerk, you ain't doin' nothing! When is commanding 1000 soldiers in contrived battles going to be useful? I'm learning all da tricks for the ladies!"

Logical conclusion:
Halo is for noobs
considering the fact that i have used pcs since I was like 7 that means I have been playing games for 20 years now. I like halo and people at lans(NOT HALO) will tell you I am not the best but I am usually up there in rank. I never like being first but third is my happy spot. If I win that means people are not trying hard enough for me.

That video rocks so hard, I might need some insane illegal narcotics to maintain consciousness through my second watch-through of it.
