That actually looks rather good, Wombat. Is the fact that there's no smooth shading an artifact of the renderer, or is each poly standing alone? Because there are a lot of hard lines where it really looks like there shouldn't be.

some of the track widths dont seem to alight with the tank width, but they look alright. can you add more texture to the tracks, or would that even show up?

They're nothing special really, just tweaking the settings right (thanks Forb) and converting Spiked's diffuse textures. Certainly do add to the look though. Thanks to jk for the code. 8)

well, i just think from looking at them... it really highlights and brings out the detail; i feel the tanks would look quite a bit more similar to each-other from a distance without them

not that they are bad to begin with of course; i just feel this is "icing on the cake" 8)

All 3 are 512x512

http://spring1944.svn.sourceforge.net/v ... ttextures/

those 3 units textures are are GBRCromwell.dds, GBRChurchillMkVII.dds and GBRShermans.dds (which is actually 1024 x 512 as it is used for multiple units with common chassis, hence the space left on it (for Sexton, Kangaroo))
