Well, that and a number of your models aren't on the critical path for our next milestone, which isn't your fault.

Plenty more stuff waiting to be modelled, though.

Also waiting on the dropship and the radar ;)

Unlike the stuff WE want from him, which is vital! :P

I've already modelled that - check my WIP thread again. Unless you want it remodelling, in which case I have another version here

For those people following this thread, SWS is making an appeal for people interested in helping out with voice acting for our mod.

Please see THIS THREAD for more information.

Yay, new SWS forums, and a new preview!

Get your account while the ID's are still low! ;)

I'll keep this thread updated as I post new previews, but the majority of our discussion will take part there.

We're also moving to a more open and transparent development approach, so that you guys can keep track of what we're up to and comment on things (of course, we're still keeping certain things under wraps for the moment), as we realise it's been a long time since our last release, and our final release (*mumble*not including beta*mumble*) is likely still a little way off, so we want to keep you all in the loop and interested!

Edit: To preempt some questions, here's a detailed explanation for the move, by Gnome:
Gnome wrote:TAU is pretty much dead these days. There aren't many new posts made anymore, and those that are made are generally by the same group of a dozen or so people. After S44 opened their own forum, that really cut off the last major reason to stay at TAU (after all, it's easier to check their forum if yours is at the same place). Staying at such a relatively dead place isn't very encouraging to any new people, even if our own forum turned out to be the only active one. Worst of all, we're not even tied to TA anymore, so we only stayed there out of habit.

In addition, while there are still a lot of pertinent threads back there (which is why the forum is locked and not deleted), only a group of ten or so of us posted actively, with a couple extras posting when Zsinj made his public screenshot threads. Since it'd been a while since any posts, and since we had such a low userbase at that time, it made a clean cut much more painless. If we had waited until we had a lot of users active and about on TAU to decide to go to our own forums, we would have certainly lost users who couldn't be bothered to migrate. But since the migration now consists mostly of staff to some extent, losses will be minimal to none.

Finally, not only is it easier to administrate forums which are entirely ours (we can set our own rules, have as many forums as we like, etc, without worrying about existing TAU conventions), it's much more professional in appearance. New people coming here will likely be more impressed by these forums than a single public and private forum on a near-dead site that is prone to going down for weeks/months at a time without warning which isn't even related to us anymore.

Eck. I hate when people make their infantry move all at once, everyone is in the same frame and it looks so unrealistic :|

Heh, I was hoping noone would notice - it looked worse in motion ;)

I wonder whether it would be worth adding a random wait before starting, nothing that effects gameplay, just breaks up run scripts a little...

Possibly, random speeds and random sleeps can do wonders.

They snowball some, but it doesn't make a very large difference.

My bad. It was there before, and then I modified some things and inadvertently removed it. Putting it back in now.
