I definatively could help with that, I'm really impressed with the scripting of your infantry, they behave quite naturally, looks great when advancing next to my gears :)

Modeling and UVmapping a decent infantry model would only take a day or so maybe, I could make a basic version that could be used as a base for the more spezialised variants. My troopers are likely to be more bulky Sci-Fi while I guess you want the realistic look with load bearing wests, BDU and helmet/ boonie hat. Unfortunately, I'm going away for a few days now, but I'll be back on monday, and infantry is the next thing on my priority list.

GZ, if you have a version of your infantry in .OBJ file format or some other format 3ds max can use I'd be happy if you could email it to me at a05matli@student.his.se so I could use it for reference.

I'm glad you want to cooperate on this :-)

More than glad, my infantry suck, but I do think they are the better looking infantry units currently in TA since I made the weapons recognizable, and they actually reload and aim their guns.

but in Spring they don't look very fancy, esspecially compared to those of Generals or something, they have alot more polies than mine, except their weapons are simple sticks lol.

BMP-3 not buildable

I've downloaded the new beta and noticed that BMP-3 unit is not buildable by any of Mospact factories. The unit itself is present in the mod file, it can be .given in the cheat mode and seems to work fine, just cannot be built.

Gah, i'll fix this ASAP, i'm not suprised I missed a few units since I had to make a sidedata file to get the mod to work for some reason.

i like your new version very much and im glad aai works fine with it :)

a few suggestions:

- imho the range of the stationary howitzers should be increased a bit ( perhaps not like berthas but maybe 50% more - i also suggest to remove the smoke trail from the arty

- the nato eurofighter (i hope i remember it correctly) drops a load of bombs, imho maybe 2 bombs should be enough since its not a b2 :)

- bunkers shoot down enemy airplanes very effectively - maybe lower their max. angle

another suggestion:
-infantry is still much too strong against aircraft

- most aircraft seem to have very low los, imho it should be increased at lest by 100%

- radar range is a little bit small

I completely agree however I do fear it will affect gameplay adversely if i increased LOS on planes.

but right now planes hardly see enemy aircraft. its especially very frustrating when manually taking control of an aircraft (can be very funny against an ai player...) because enemy units appear in los far too late

i suggest increasing los in general a bit, its more realistic...

infantry rifles should not do so much damage to armoured units

most aircraft (except bombers like b52) should not get more than 2 bombs

the infantry machinegun (saw) is imho too inaccurate, it doesnt hit anything except on very close range

I think the fileuniverse file of tawd is corrupt at the moment, because I've dled it twice and both times it had an error.

Well, I suppose you have to be patient for the moment.

I have a job and relatively little free time...I barely have time to even play games.

The main problem right now that doesn't motivate me as much to work on WD is that the devs simply wont listen to many things.

as far as I can tell it was the download files, I intergrated them in the gamedate.tdf file now.

Tomorrow i'll try to upload the latest WD.
