the flash is overpowered. bringing back the beamer and hllt is a good idea.

is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the karganeth can scale cliffs insanely fast?

the maverick was talked about a few pages back but it does seem like it has weaker armor than it should but pair it up with a few zeus's and some lvl1 units and its great.

Will that really be enough? From the discussion a few pages back, it sounds like the Flash is rediculously cost-effective. Wouldn't you need to nerf its damage a bit too?

well, i was just stating that the flash is a bit overpowered and that the beamer and hllt are a good unit to bring back. i understand that its not going to solve the problem esp since it takes time to get a few up and a player can get plenty of flashes to that players base before hand. slowing them down a bit and increasing the buildtime or cost will help quite a bit.

i wasn't really complaining about it as much as i was just aggreeing with what others said. just like comm bombing, its something you get used to and adapt.

the karganeth scaling walls is what bothers me. i can understand spiders or turtles come in and im ok with that. when i see 3 karganeths just launch up the wall and get there in no time, then i know somethings wrong.

nerf flash damage for atleast 20%

other things are quite okish balanced


combombing is fine for me, i never build super duper defense at one point (great target for commbomb)

Nerfing flash means nerfing the peewee as well. They have the same weapon.

Its because all terrain units can't be made to climb at a differant speed on cliffs or anything. Technically the speed is horizontal speed, So an AT unit going up a cliff Still tries to move X units horzontally, Even thouh its moving Y units upwards as well.

Its because all terrain units can't be made to climb at a differant speed on cliffs or anything. Technically the speed is horizontal speed, So an AT unit going up a cliff Still tries to move X units horzontally, Even thouh its moving Y units upwards as well.
Isn't there a way to specify a speed modifier for terrain in maps? It'd be a mapping fix, rather than a mod fix, but if it really bugs people that much, it would be a fix.

only thing flashes need is explosion damage to eachother, like brawlers got some two releases ago. doesn't change a single flash's effectiveness but doesn't allow you to effectively spam them.

If you can only use units on groups of one, its a unit thats not worth building.

how is it then that units take a long time to climb up a hill? i understand that its still x but there is also a y. is it because the cliff is just straight up and shorter than a slope? sorry if its a stupid question but its just got me wondering.
