Yes. It's quite apparent when you can see it in motion, the accurate lighting and the final quality of the shader makes a big difference in terms of final feel
This was mainly an experiment about how to speed up production using certain 2D painting methods. That a warship resulted was a happy side benefit.

I have personally seen the militaries big assed catamaran and seen many pictures of the stealth one.
Realized i know it from the movie 'tomorrow never dies'.
These ships are (or look like) catamarans, but they still have roughly the wedge shape people generally expect to see with ships, even though the wedge doesn't seem to cut the water, like most ships normally do.
'Simply' adding a bow might drop some eyebrows.

tbh when I see that ship I dont think catamaran, it looks like a trapezoid floating on the surface with 2 uber long balast tanks underneath, more like a raft than a catamaran.
The turret too just looks weird, is it really unable to turn horizontally? Wouldnt that be a major crippling point? Especially considering the length of the ship...
I like the bridge with the windows, but I don't like the long expanse of unit behind and infront of it where the only detailing is the repeating panel texture. I like the lights on the bottom as well.

just make the blocky pieces more round by adding a few polies on the corners. ie: make a rectangle prism into a hexagon or octagon.

First things first, its wonderfull that somebody tries to built in stealthships, and even exotic ones (although Fanger added something similar for EE, if i remember right)
Why not risking some slight Assymetric liek these

Looks really cool.
A dude in armor or a robot?
Hope he doesn't stand like this on the battle field. A little bend over and bended knees for a broader stance would look good imo.

Why? bending at the knees and holding such a position would cause metal fatigue on the joints. I can understand wanting some amount of posing and maybe the feet to form a V but the knees being bent cause balance issues in humanoid machines like these. At least that is my take on it. Really who stands around knees bent. you may sway to one hip or another(which is admittedly bad posture) however, if your posture is correct you stand pretty straight.
we have discussed this in the thread before...
soldiers at attention etc...

If it has to run or otherwise maneuver quickly, bent knees can be a good thing. Jointwise, you could make them lock at an angle to reduce wear.

I meant if it runs often, like a char gelgoog as opposed to a guncannon. The former, as it's not standing still for long, would keep a more open stance with bent legs, ready to run, while the latter, usually standing still, would stand straight.
None of this is considering weapon recoil, etc. does the unit fire while moving?
