My girlfriend decided that night while piss-drunk to leave me and demanded I give her the kid for her to take to this party. I refused and she came over with 4 of her friends. She "claims" she didn't want her friends to get involved but in any case they tried to get in and cause shit and she made half-assed attempts to calm them down but in the end, she brought them.

A knife is stupid idea. If you stab one of them it could be considered pre-meditated. If you are going to defend yourself then do it right. Keep the doors locked and when they come pounding on the door be somewhere else.

It might be a good time to consider backing up your files online somewhere. Ex-girlfriends do crazy things, like steal all of your valuables and destroy them in order to feel like they got over the relationship.

if it is a legal battle, buy a cheap CCV camera (records sound and picture on looping 24 hours tape) or two and bung them in good spots outside or in your house. if somthing happens and it goes legal the tapes will be dyanmatie, thats how a freind of mine got a stalker locked away. legal footage ftw!

Where did my post go!?

I said that in America, if you tell someone to leave, and they are in your house, you can kill 'em. If he is in my doorway, I can blow his brains out. If they have a similar law in Canada, then feel free to blow 'em apart, should they come in your house

You do have certain rights on your own property, but you must prove cause for such an act, and some restrictions apply. The law is not cut and dried.

Okay so I thought about it for about 60 seconds, and I realized, why waste time trying to develop our own unit icons? Militaries have, for hundreds of years, used a system of standardized symbols to represent unit types, from air defense to anti-tank, armour and infantry, cavalry/recon and engineer.

I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. TBH I feel quite stupid. In any case, here's a quick sample of unit symbols:

Image

1 - Infantry
2 - Armour
3 - Recon
4 - Anti-Tank
5 - Artillery
6 - Anti-Aircraft
7 - Engineer

These are in no way the planned icons we'll use. To be in-game ready they'd have to be changed quite a bit, but in any case, you get the idea. There are also others I didn't include, such as aircraft and maintenance.

When its ready!

We have some *very* cool things planned around an upcoming spring engine change - that is, the ability to detect what weapon just hit a unit.

Can you say, supressing fire?

Anyways, infantry are very close to content complete - just a few brits remain, and I'm nearly done with infantry anims. Once they're all working in game, animated to satesfaction, its time to get the gameplay sorted...and test all the new ideas we have, so yeah, it might be a few weeks or a few months, it depends how quickly our ideas come together.

There will be something released when we have infantry down and have included the various cool features we're planning to include, such as far deeper infantry fighting tactics that are now possible.

You Armicans think you got it bad... ok I got that wrong... your canadian (I just had quick pop in me atlas)
In bristol (were I live) you can walk down the road and 45/100 a person will try mug ya and if he succeds, the police are likely to LAUGH AT YOU DOWN THE PHONE

Dont use the knife... use a kanata or something like that (Imediate Death is good) or use bludgen like a bassball bat, or hokey stick <-- Sterotyping it has minal pain but it still gets the message across, god job you aint in a US ghetto you'd be dead by now

BACK ON SUBJECT

Nice models and animation their for the brits!
