looks better i expected ^^ but seriously, change this tarmac, u can sacrifice some place on the uvmap for characteristic parts of buildings
btw, how t2 kbot lab works ? x)

yeah, looks grand, nice stuff!
looking at the models, i'm on the side of the fence of normalmaps; obv not my choice, but if you're using a single atlased texture for everything, why not just add it? if you're concerned about the models getting too noisy, you can always add the normalmap subtly (depths/shadows don't have to be super intense)
the places normalmaps in spring (to me at least) always look really money are on moving parts, combined with reflective surfaces
its a shame we can't have occlusive lighting like your earlier renders
i have no feelings about the tarmac, other than its black and contrasts nicely with everything else and makes the units stand out. were it to be replaced i would like to see something equally contrasty in its place
just quibbling, models are great, nobody will die from a lack of or an overabundance of tarmac

Gonna have to say i dont like the look of the tarmac, but the models themselves are nothing short of godly!

Hey, I like the tarmac. If you really want, a replacement I would be fine with is a circuitboard, or a sheet of metal.

I'll play around with the tarmac guys. I may be able to come up with something better.

I'm not sure how you'd plan to do AO directly on the mesh with the overlapping uvs and all. Unless, spring supports decals with auto secondary wrap channels...
Either way I trust ya. :D

Before anyone says anything, no I'm not spending multiple days on the tarmac. I'm just not going to make a render until I have 20 or so.

Here are some more. I'm only rendering a few at a time atm because I'm mainly working with factories and the complex uvwraps, thus its taking more time.
And, all the tarmac, and airpads are temporary. I'm going to have pyra make some proper ones in the texture.
