I did not mean to start this shit storm, it is apparent looking back that it was overreaction on my part and poor communication. I dont think Im equipped to deal with this.. Given the shit leveled at me and the fact that I dont entirely feel that it is unjustified.. I think maybe I should just go away..

I dont expect that anything I do from now on will be well recieved, although I suppose admittedly that it is somewhat deserved. Im just gonna take leave before I cause a further shitstorm through some other faux pas.. on my part..

godamnit fang, this was all a misunderstanding and you know it. This is exactly why I posted here on this forum. The changes are almost done and it is only going to be as negative as you let it be. IF I have to release the corrected version I will! This isn't even my mod!

Alright people, how about we just rectify this, forget the hard feelings and move on? It's a skill that Spring people really need to brush up on.

And to point out, a good example of how to behave is how Smoth behaved when I made the faux paus about his Gundam Models, which I still owe him thanks for letting me take a look though.

Argh: you damn well know it was a misunderstanding. Chill, be patient, etc.

Fang: look, you obviously wanted to use Argh's code - and there's nothing wrong with that.... so why not, rather than try and push away his gift to the community, just use it and "pay it forward": why not GPL your own BOS code? After all, you've obviously learned from Argh's code, and you wanted to save some time and reuse it where appropriate.... since you can obviously see the appeal of this, why not let others do the same with yours? GPL is code-only - all of your content remains your own, all it says is that others can use your BOS code (as long as they "pay it forward" too).

Oh, and Pxtl, STFU, you've got nothing to do with this you stupid code-monkey.

/GPLs all his personal code... but none of it does anything useful.

yep, I was pissed, got the mods to lock the thread, ranted on a private forum and cleared it up. Stuff happens, I hope we all learned from it.
