The reason some of us modders dont have any "vision" when it comes to fiddling with the FPS system is a priority issuse.. you dont add a bell onto your bike when the tires are flat its not useful, yeah it might be useful when you can use the bike again but right now waste of time..
I did not say that the devs should immediately abandon the RTS element to develop the FPS. Perhaps I should have made this sentiment clear throughout my post, but I did say:
In short, Spring won't go wrong, if the FPS/TPS element is further developed once the RTS element is done.
As this is an RTS engine first and foremost, there's where the greater share of work should be and I agree the RTS element should be the focus of development.

But, do not dismiss nor neglect the FPS element either; which is what most of the posters here seem to do.

I'd say: wait with the FPS till the engine is capable of it. With CEGUI, LUA and some other changes coming up (yes, could take a while) this _will_ be possible, but perhaps for your grandchildren... :twisted:
