HUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMM........HoverAttack=1; thats only is airplane "hover" related.It is utilized in gunships like the ARM Brawler.

It's called AirHoverFactor. Just set it and see what happens.

Thanks, it does not land any more, but roams around aimlessly (and sometimes goes through the bottom of the map when there are tall map features :S) well off to experiment and make the unit work. (and my lousy computer 
) and of course my monitor is now starting to fizzle on occation and blank out at times when I play spring. UGH! technology is mocking me 
.
And. . .well I hate to come crawling back but, if any one has any idea on how to fix my compiling problems, it would be much appriciated.

Of course it's going to fly around aimlessly since it can neither land nor hover. Set airhoverfactor to 0 if you want it to hover in place.

Step by step suggestion..uninstall..then reinstall Scriptor enabling compatibility with Win98, and substitute the head files by Cavedog ones from last patch (Rev3.1) .To do this you must to unpack via HPIview the Patch and extract from there the script files all_names_you_found.h files to the Scriptor folder, removing before ALL other files.And. . .well I hate to come crawling back but, if any one has any idea on how to fix my compiling problems, it would be much appriciated
...Or remove it AND Hoverattack=1; that is ONLY for planes and create the movement you had related above.HOVER in the category tag is to class the unit as hovercraft, hoverattack and airhoverfactor instead,are ONLY related to planes behavior movement.Also in gamedata/moveinfo folder you must to put a movement class like a hover.... copy from other mods it. :idea:Of course it's going to fly around aimlessly since it can neither land nor hover. I think the problem may be that I technically have not installed it. This being due to the fact that I have only been able to find scriptor for dl as a zip file containing all its parts, with out an installer. (and my computer does not recognise that it can be used to open bos or cob files). So if you know were I can get an actually installer, I think that might fix the problem.
