Note there is a place for the factory worker time. Because of the way this sheet works you will need to insert columns and to put new values in. Anyway please put all FF values in the left columns for me. Starting with core then going to arm. Once that is done email it to me @

at the moment we are trying to decide on a unified art style the reason being is that the current look is inconsistent for both sides. So what I would like you to do is go over the 3 FF races. Core, arm and the new one. Find a few ships that you feel personify the look of either side and pm me their names.
From there I do not want you to remodel them, I just want you to take the old models and start modifying them to fit the new look. Keep two copies of the models in your wings file, the old and new so I can discuss the changes with you.

I do not have the time to do a design doc, then again it is not my intent to add things. I want to get FF working as it was in OTA but prettier. I am in the middle of 3 projects and it will take a lot of work to keep this group organized. However, I can see what I can do as far as a rough one but it will take a bit.

Once you get the units and weapons scaled down zip that up for me. At the moment we are going to redo the models and balance. An epic version is a bit premature. However, once the base project is done and IW is added we can create a mutator for the mod to allow epic battles.

I have been wanting to do this for some time and soon I may well get the go ahead to bring TA:IW to spring! Not only that but bring it in the FF mod as separate sides! making the mod's final side count 5 sides!

A soon as I get the ok, I will download the independence war and start converting it! Minion has volunteered to remodel the units also! So, keep up the good work guys this is going to be bigger then any other mod out there!
Thoughts on Econ: There are two ways of doing the econ:
OTA: where units have varying costs and buildtimes. Which can lead to a higher learning curve but will allow a fine tweaking of the resources
gundam: Where units will not excede a predescribed cost as in, all units in said factory will cost a certian amount. The only difference is time. I like this system because it makes learning the econ go faster.
before any balancing is done we need to decide on the econ.
Mutators
There will be 5 mutators we are going to do them in this order
BFF regular (Play as BFF)
IW Regular (Play as IW)
BFF + IW (Play as BFF or IW sides)
BFF epic (Play as BFFepic)
IW epic (Play as IWepic)
but the units are smaller make the maps that much larger
Now that all being said we need a name for this new mod.
The name needs to merge: Beyond Final frontier and Independence war... so toss some names out guys, lets see what we can come up with.
