If you are refering to the "no rtti data" crash I just fixed that and it had nothing to do with the map, only killing a factory at exactly the wrong frame. (if there is not more of them causing the same type of crash of course)
Yep i was refering to that...
Funny conicidence then.. another game/replay using the
same map causes no rtti data aswell.
e: linky!
But i recall getting no rtti data in other map too, its just coincidence.
Thanks for the fixing!! no more good games broken!

That's probably your video card. Make sure you have proper case cooling on your PC. Oh, and if your PC is a benchmark buster then ignore this post.

Sorry, topic necromancy here but Delta Siege (the original) worked fine for me, where's the Delta Siege V10 (version) crashes as soon as I get into the game every time.

that is strange! V10 is more of a update of the first release (and can also be viewed as the original). I will have to check what was changed there to maybe find some difference that may cause the crash.
Do you get an error message of any kind?

V10 has:
- other sun settings (less negative than original)
- little more wind
- maphardness of 10 (instead of first 200)
- more terrain types that define maphardness better
- more start locations

We'll I've re-downloaded the pack, just in case it was corrupt. If it doesn't work next time I'll make another post.
Either way there's no error messages, it loads up, I see the map for a few seconds and then as soon as I'm able to choose my start position I get sent back to the lobby.

negative sun values. I did a test with one of my maps yesterday, in an 8 player game 1 or 2 people always crashed.
This really is a bug that needs fixing. It's annoying as hell.

what are your pc specs? I rarely crash, but only when having alot(!) of programs running, that use up alot of mem/cpu power.

AMD 3200+
ATI X800 PCIE
512MB of RAM
I know the RAM's a bit low but I'm able to play pretty much any other map out there including Supreme Battlefield.

I'm reallt interested in the specs of the people's pc that crash. I think it's very plausible that it's ram related.

The main issue with his maps are people with different versions that don't know they have different versions, as version numbers aren't attached as far as most can tell.
I used to have serious issues with the DeltaSiege group, entering some games with tiles out of place, and others with sync errors. It turned out that not only was the original download not being played on the other machines, but Spring didn't recognize the difference between our files.
Oh, and when you replace a map of his with a newer download, remove or delete the old one outright. Spring sometimes tried to load from both, which results in tile reversals, sync errors AND massive crashes.
