It's not the visuals, is the content. A game must be non-voilent, non gore, everything sensored and most of all: contain a low level real life virtual-reality.

(note. this isn't true for all females)

I think the best way to aim a game at females is to eliminate "loseing", if you can just keep playing and never die, lose men, get game over... it fit's better into the female perspective... just my opinion, but my wife's stated reason for not likeing quake and TA is that you keep loseing over and over again... the winner is effectively the person who loses less... so you could make a RTS that basically you never lose, you just keep playing until you win and get a score for how well you did... I think a girl would play it... violence or not.

Girls don't usually like games because they don't have the patience. They don't really like to think strategically either. Now I am saying girls in general that would rather go shopping then expanding and exterminating.

I like to game. I am playing CS: Source frequently lately because it was the first game I ever got into and I love it still. I played WOW for a while with my brothers but when they stopped the lack of competition of a sibling made WOW loose its appeal to me. I never really got into Sims, probably because it didn't run very well for me and I could never get the bastards to not light their houses on fire. I used to play HL2 with Flint, then I had school and took a break for a while.

But I am playing EE right now. I am learning and practicing to get better so I can compete with people like Flint.

And I think I am the first girl post. Yay.
